The PAAP Standards

The Maine Alternate Assessment Standards provide a common basis for the planning and assessment of standards-related instruction and assessment in a system that allows students to work on the Content Standards, LoC descriptors, and tasks best suited to their individual needs.  PAAP tasks can be found in the PAAP Task Bank; all tasks submitted in 2009-2010 must come from this source.  Tasks within the Task Bank are aligned with the Maine Alternate Assessment Standards, Levels of Complexity 1–8.  Students working above the grade-appropriate LoC should participate in the State assessment for their grade-level placement with appropriate accommodations.
